OK..so this was so cool & funny..but not really..well maybe….
We all laugh about it NOW! We were so in the “Happiest Place on Earth”. HOWEVER.. The only thing worst than birdstuff in your left eye is Orange on WHITE!!
We were in MGM (now Hollywood Studios) in Disney World, right by the “Stars Tours” ride. I had a major righteous big cup of Fanta Orange soda. I was about eight years old at the time. My parents and grandparents and I (my brother wasn’t born yet, BTW those were the good ‘ole days) were taking a lunch break from all the rides.
My mom, Wendy was next to me, and wearing white tennis shoes, white shorts, white shirt, white bra : ), white socks & even a white scrunchie. Can you see where this is going? Eight year old me, big orange soda, stepmom wearing brand new white shoes, etc…etc..etc….
One minute I was standing there, soda in hand, and the next thing I know, there seems to be some kind of miraculous orange soda explosion going on!!!! I must have dropped it, or it slipped out of my hand or something! (Well, considering I was the only one drinking orange soda at the time.) You know, it WAS a big cup, and I was a tiny little kid back then – it REALLY was an accident!!!
I looked over at W/mom and everyone else, and it must have been through some strange phenomenon , but she was the only one that got hit by the massive but VERY orange (did I say ORANGE) spray!!!!
She was covered (so awesomely HEE HEE) in orange from head to toe. Should I remind you that she was wearing white that day? Not to mention she does have blonde hair too! It was then that I noticed that there was another minor (Maybe MAJOR) explosion about to occur.
I could see the color rising in Wendy’s face just like it does in cartoons or maybe when lobsters are cooked? She was like an unfinished rainbow of white, red and bright orange!!!
This was definitely, positively, withoutadoubt going to be an all out eruption (most definitely & surely worse than “Dante’s Peak”). I swear, I could see smoke coming out of her ears. To this day, she still thinks I did it on purpose.
Maybe? Maybe not…To be…or not to be….YEAH whatever…LOL
